This is a 1955 Chevy 2 Door Hard Top Bel Air owned by Paul Bowman. Paul's 55 Chevy is an amazingly beautiful machine. The picture on this webpage do not even begin to show the true beauty of this classic automobile. Southern Performance provided a custom LS engine package with modest horse power ratings because Paul wanted a daily driver Hot Rod.
Paul built the 1955 Chevy himself at his shop and had a handful of others which supplied items such as the frame, rear end, upholstery, paint work and complete engine/transmission package.
The 1955's frame was built by Bohannon Concepts (Cookeville, TN) and has a Corvette front and rear setup. The paint job and upholstery work was provided by Allon's Body Shop & Upholstery in Double Springs, TN (931-858-2716). Dupont Hot Hues was the paint brand of choice: Raspberry Candy & Silver. The 17" Chrome Wheels are from Billet Specialties.
