Pricing
Orders will be charged based upon the price at the checkout. Shipping prices are only an estimate, additional shipping charges may apply. Price quotes provided by Southern Performance Systems are valid for 10 days from delivery of quote to the customer. Receipt of order verbally or written by SPS is not necessarily acknowledgement or confirmation of order. Due to the nature of our business, each item is unique and priced individually. All efforts will be made to keep pricing as listed when possible. Prices are subject to change without notice. Southern Performance Systems reserves the right to cancel any order.
Sales Tax
Orders will include sales tax (unless exempt) on all shipments and pick-up within the state of Georgia.
Payment Methods
Southern Performance Systems accepts cash, personal/business check (held until cleared), and bank wire transfer. There is a limit of up to $8,000.00 for purchases made via Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Engine packages and retro-mod services provided by SPS are not eligible for purchase via credit card. Southern Performance Systems does not accept American Express. All checks must be made payable to Southern Performance Systems. ALL PURCHASES must be PAID IN FULL prior to the shipment of the purchase. Any engine purchase of more than $8,000.00 will require a minimal of 50% down payment of the purchase price. An additional payment of 25% will be required within the next 30 days following initial down payment. The remaining balance MUST be paid prior to shipment of the engine and parts. Purchases of less than $8,000.00 must be paid in full at time of purchase. All Engine Packages paid in full at time of purchase receive free shipping to domestic addresses only excluding Hawaii and Alaska.
Signature Form REQUIRED for all Credit Card purchases of $500 or more.
Custom Installations
The engine and transmissions that are sold by Southern Performance Systems, unless intended for direct replacement into the same type vehicle of its year, are considered custom installations. Any modifications that are required for the custom installations are the responsibility of the customer. Engine/transmission units cannot be returned to Southern Performance Systems due to the inability to install the engine/transmission unit in the customer's vehicle.
Shipping
All engines are custom built after purchase and usually ship in 3-12 weeks depending on selected options.
All parts and accessories usually ship in 4-10 days.
Any shipment that requires crating, as determined by Southern Performance Systems, will incur a $100 crating fee.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect shipment for damage prior to accepting shipment from shipping company for claim purposes.
If shipping to an alternative address, purchase must be paid by cash, check, or bank wire transfer.
Domestic Shipments
All shipping fees are based on the delivery address.
Shipping to a residential address or locations that will require a lift gate will incurs addition fees as required by shipping company.
A small amount of insurance is included to cover most engines. More coverage is available if desired, at an additional cost.
Payment made by Credit Cards can only be shipped to the CONFIRMED ADDRESS ON THE CARD for security reasons.
Order placed online ONLY ship to the 48 States.
Online orders are to be paid with Paypal.
International Shipments
International customers are responsible for all shipping charges to there country.
International customers are responsible for any custom duty taxes that may occur in their country.
Shipping to USA Freight Forwarders is that same as for domestic shipping.
If an international customer would like you use their own method for shipping they are welcome to do so. However, international customers must verify with Southern Performance Systems that their order is ready to be pick-up.
Customer must also provide Southern Performance Systems with the freight company's information prior to pick-up.
Any freight company arriving for pick-up will be rejected by Southern Performance Systems if the pick-up was not approved prior to freight company's arrival.
Southern Performance Systems is not be responsible for any fees incurred to the customer by the customer's freight company if then above policies are not followed.
Air Freight rate are determined by your location and usually are in transit for 8-12 days, delivered to the nearest airport location for pickup by the customer.
Sea freight rates are determined by your location and usually are in transit for 25-35 days, delivered to nearest port location or pickup by the customer.
If your Country has a Free Trade Agreement with the USA then you should not incur Import Duties. Your local taxes may still apply.
Order Cancellation Policy
All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as possible. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:
If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 20% cancellation fee before credit is issued.
We are unable to cancel an Special/Custom Orders, such as Custom Engine Builds.
Southern Performance Systems will also cancel an order if we are unable to verify billing and shipping information or collect through the credit cards issuing bank.
Request to cancel any order must be submitted via Email at SPSENGINES@YAHOO.COM
Returns
All products returned to Southern Performance Systems must be in their original packaging and must not have any parts missing. Products that have been altered, damaged, installed or used in any way cannot be returned. All returns must be pre-authorized through Southern Performance Systems. Any return without authorization will be rejected. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee before credit is issued. Returns must be received by Southern Performance Systems within 30 days of purchase/shipment date. Any special/custom-order items cannot be returned. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Purchaser is responsible for all return shipping fees incurred.
