This is a 1956 Chevy Bel Air with a ProStreet LS376/560 Engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. Tthe engine punches out 560 horse power which turned this classic car into a modern rocket. Our customer had already purchased an air ride suspension from RideTech with a trianglar 4-link with 9-inch Ford rear end. Every classic update requires a new fuel system with updated fuel tank and in-tank pump that supply 58psi of fuel pressure to the engine. Increased the stopping power with Wilwood brakes, and improved the steering with a flaming river column and power steering box. Updates to the interior include Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital gauges, Lokar floor shifter and powered seats. Larry plans on updating the interior more and repainting the car back home.
