Rob's 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

What we have here is an absolutely beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Belair 2 door post car. Rob chose to send the '55 to SPS for the LS conversion. We installed a 535 horse power Street Rod LS376/535 with a 4L70E trans. For cooling SPS provided a custom core support all aluminum direct bolt in with a double pass extra large all aluminum radiator, dual 13" fans and extra large condenser. SPS upgraded the front suspension to Heidts upper and lower control arms, 2" drop front spindles and front sway bars. Wilwood 4 piston calipers were installed again on all 4 corners with drilled and slotted rotors. Got to ride in comfort so what else but Vintage Air with factory installed louvers. Other updates include Dakota Digital Gauges and Moser Ford 9" rear end.

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air w/EFI Stacks

This is a 1956 Chevy Bel Air that Southern Performance Systems will be installing a LS3 engine with Ingeles Stacker Injection System. The engine was be mated with a Tremec T56 Manual Transmission.

Ellis's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air with a ProStreet LS3 Engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. A lot was done to this car. Obviously the engine and transmission were upgraded but we also beefed up the rear end, updated the fuel delivery system for EFI, upgraded the rear brakes to Wilwood brakes, and improved the steering with new Flaming River column and power steering rack. This car rides and drives like a modern car with that classic look. Updates to the interior include Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, American Autowire body harness, and a Custom Sounds radio with that classic look.

Glenn's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air that Southern Performance Systems installed a ProStreet LS3 engine with 6L80E 6-Speed automatic transmission into. We also updated Glenn's fuel system with a new fuel tank with in-tank pump. The rear end was updated to handle the additional power from the LS engine. The exterior paint and interior were left for Glenn to finish back home.

Kenny's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air with a Street Rod LS76/495 Engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. A lot was done to this car. Obviously the engine and transmission were upgraded but we also improved the supension, beefed up the rear end, updated the fuel delivery system for high PSI, increased the stopping power with Wilwood multi-piston brakes, and improved the steering with a hydraboost system. This car rides and drives like a modern car with that classic look. Updates to the interior include Flaming River steering column, Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital gauges, and even cruise control.

Larry's 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is a 1956 Chevy Bel Air with a ProStreet LS376/560 Engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. Tthe engine punches out 560 horse power which turned this classic car into a modern rocket. Our customer had already purchased an air ride suspension from RideTech with a trianglar 4-link with 9-inch Ford rear end. Every classic update requires a new fuel system with updated fuel tank and in-tank pump that supply 58psi of fuel pressure to the engine. Increased the stopping power with Wilwood brakes, and improved the steering with a flaming river column and power steering box. Updates to the interior include Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital gauges, Lokar floor shifter and powered seats.

Sacco's 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire

This is a rare 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire with a ProStreet LS376/480 Engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. A lot was done to this car. Obviously the engine and transmission were upgraded but we also beefed up the rear end, updated the fuel delivery system for EFI with a custom built fuel tank, upgraded the brakes to Wilwood brakes, and improved the steering with new Flaming River column and hydroboost system. Improved the suspension with RideTech control arms and AFCO coil-over shocks. The interior was renewed by our friends at Fountain’s Upholster. This car rides and drives like a modern car with that classic look. Updates to the interior include Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital gauges, American Autowire body harness, and a Custom Sounds radio with that classic look.

Gray's 1966 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette with a Street Rod Series LS376/480 Engine with TKX600 5-Speed Transmission installed by Southern Performance Systems. A lot was done to this car. The engine and transmission were upgraded to match modern Corvette performacne and power. We also beefed up the rear end, updated the fuel delivery system for EFI, installed a complete RideTech suspension in both the front and rear of the car, and improved the steering with new Flaming River column and power steering box. This car rides and drives like a modern C6 Corvette with that classic look. Updates to the interior include Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital gauges, and American Autowire body harness.

Kenny's 1966 Pontiac GTO

This is a 1966 Pontiac GTO that Southern Performance Systems installed the ProStreet LS376/495 engine with 4L70E Automatic Transmission. The engine and transmission were upgraded but we also, beefed up the rear end, updated the fuel delivery system for high PSI, increased the stopping power with Wilwood multi-piston brakes, and improved the power steering. Delbert's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

This Blue and White beauty belongs to Delbert Sullivan, who asked us to perform a LS Restomod on his classic muscle car. This is a 1968 Camaro that had a Chevy 350 installed, the motor still ran great and had plenty of power for Delbert when he bought it brand new during his high school days. Delbert wanted a modern engine with lots of power so we transplanted in our 560+ horse power ProStreet LS376/560 sysytem. We also be updating the Camaro's dash to a Classic Dash Display with AutoMeter Pro Street Gauges.

John's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

This Blue and White convertible belongs to John Huke. John brought his 1968 Camaro to use for a LS Restomod. We took this 68 Camaro and swapped out the old dated 350 engine for an updated 495 horsepower ProStreet LS376/495 engine. The electrical was updated with a modern fuse panel and wiring systems from American Autowire. We also be updating the Camaro's dash to a with a modernized Dakota Digital HDX gauge cluster and new audio system.

Shannon's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

This silver bell belongs to Shannon W. Shannon brought his classic muscle car to SPS for a our world renowned LS Restomod conversion. This is a 1968 Camaro that had a Chevy 350 installed, the motor still ran great and had plenty of power for its time period but Shannon wanted something to match modern performance. Our ProStreet LS376/495 fit the ticket just right. That extra horsepower required updates the Camaro's fuel system with a new tank setup for EFI, fuel filter and fuel line kit. The core support was updated to include a new double pass radiator with dual fans for cooling and AC condensor. We also be updating the Camaro's dash to a Dakota Digital VHX Display and a Vintage Air Sure-fit air conditioning system.

Chris's 1968 Pontiac Firebird

Chris Sorley from Canada owns this 1968 Firebird. Originally equipped with a 350 Small Block, Southern Performance Systems Resto-modded this Firebird with a 495 horse power Street Rod LS376/495 engine package. This high performance engine is known to get sideways on a nice sunny day in Georgia, so we're sure it will go every-which-way but straight once this Firebird returns to a snowy Canada.

Lloyd's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

This Orange and White 1968 Camaro belongs to Lloyd A. Lloyd brought this classic muscle car to Southern Performance Systems for a LS1 Restomod. It arrived with the standard Chevy 350 installed. We transplanted a 2004 Corvette LS1 Engine with 4L60E transmission, which was provided by Lloyd, into the Camaro. Southern Performance System supplied the Custom Wire Harness, ECM Programming, radiator, and headers. We also updated the Camaro's factory gauges to a set of Dakota Digital Gauges that look great.

Thomas's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Southern Performanc built Tom a LS376 with 560 horse power. To cool this beast we add a brand new core support assemly with dual fan, double pass radiator. Tom's 5-speed was upgraded with a Tremec T56 Magnum with a custom shifter that fit the car's original center console. This camaro had some less than safe existing wiring for we swap out the system for a new updated harness from American Autowire. Outdated gauges just do not work well with modern engines that's why we installed a new set of gauges from Dakota Digital, complete with gauges for the center console too. The fuel system was updated to work with an EFI engine that requires 58psi for best performance. Tom will be keeping cool all summer long with a Sure-fit AC system from Vintage Air. Lastly, we cleaned up the engine bay with a billet aluminum serpentine system, cold air inage kit, and custom painted LS3 injector covers.

Randy's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Randy brought us his 1969 Camaro and all he said was "I wanna go fast." So SPS built a custom Street Rod LS376/560SC engine and we bolted on a Magnuson TVS 2300 Supercharger on top of it. SPS is also suppling a Custom Wire Harness, ECM Programming, radiator, and headers.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

1969 Camaro SS Restmodded by Southern Performance Systems. We are retro-fitting this 69 Camaro with our ProStreet LS3 engine rated at 430+ Horse Power and a 4L70E Transmission. SPS also supplied Custom Wire Harness, ECM Programming, Radiator, and Headers. We will also be upgrading the factory gauges to Dakota Digital gauges that look great.

Dougs's 1970 Chevrolet El Camino

This 1970 El Camino came to us with Chevy 502 Big Block installed. The El Camino belongs to Doug L, who asked asked us to perform a LS Restomod to his classic car. We transplanted a brand new 560 horse power Street Rod LS376/560 engine. We also updated Doug's fuel system to a modern system designed for high performance fuel injected engines. Auto Meter gauges were installed to help monitor the El Camion's more powerful engine.

Scott's 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

Scott H, brought us his 1971 Chevelle to have a LS3 conversion done. SPS installed our 430hp ProStreet LS3 with 4L70E transmission. Added a few upgrades to the engine including the tunnel ram intake, MSD coils and/or cleaner system. Other updates to the car include Vintage Air AC System and performance exhaust.

1981 Chevrolet Malibu Wagon

This is a 1981 Malibu Wagon that Southern Performance Systems installed a ProStreet LS3 engine with 430 Horse Power into. The engine is mated with a 4L70E Automatic transmission. Other mods included updated rear end, Wilwood brake system, and Dakota Digital VHX gauge system.

1981 Pontiac TransAm

Our customer brought us this 1981 Trans Am with a 1979 front clip. He has requested that we install one of our 670HP Street Rod LSx 427 engines into this awesome car. The car has been custom built with a Heidts front subframes and Heidts rear IRS suspension.

Bill's 1989 Chevrolet Truck

This is a 1989 Chevy Pickup Truck owned by Bill Aumack. We installed a 2009 5.3L Vortec Engine 325HP with 4L60E Transmission to replace the truck's old 350 Small Block Chevrolet Engine and 700R Transmission. For the Engine Swap/Installation we used custom frame and motor mounts along with a new crossmember. Custom Hedman Long Tube Headers were used to clear the truck's frame and upper control arms. The truck's rear end was updated with a 3.73 Posi Unit.

Walter's 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS

This is a 1995 Impala SS that had a Chevy LT1 small block installed. The Impala SS belongs to our customer Walter. Walter came to us looking for a LS engine to Restomod into his his 4-door Impala. Southern Performance Systems transplanted a brand new, 950+ Horse Power, Street Rod LSx 427ci Engine with a Magnuson TVS2300 Supercharger into the SS.

Gary's 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS

This is a 1996 Impala SS that had a Chevy LT1 small block installed. SPS replaced the small block with a modern ProStreet LS376/560 engine with 560HP and a Tremec T56 Transmission... plus Nitrous! Gauge cluster was updated to with a system from Dakota Digital.

Custom Trike

One of the crazier things to come into our shop for an LS conversion. Not sure we can call this a RestoMod but this custom Trike came to us at Southern Performance Systems with a Small Block installed and left with a supercharged LS3. Trike was picked up by the shipping company early before we had a chance to photograph the finished project.
